Migration Steps
Export reviews from Loox
In your Shopify admin, open Loox > Settings > General. Scroll to the Import/Export section and click "Export all reviews." You will receive a CSV file via email containing all reviews, ratings, and photo URLs.
Download your review photos
Loox-hosted photos may become inaccessible after uninstall. Use the exported photo URLs to download images, or contact Loox support to request a full media export before cancelling.
Install Eevy AI from the Shopify App Store
Find "Eevy AI" on the Shopify App Store and install it. Grant the required storefront permissions when prompted.
Import reviews and photos into Eevy AI
In Eevy AI, navigate to Settings > Import Reviews. Upload your Loox CSV. Eevy maps Loox fields automatically. For photos, upload the downloaded images or provide the original URLs if still accessible.
Remove Loox widgets from your theme
Open your theme editor and remove all Loox app blocks: review widgets, star rating badges, photo carousels, and any popups or sidebar widgets.
Add Eevy AI sections to your theme
Add Eevy AI app blocks to your product pages. The genetic algorithm immediately begins generating layout variations incorporating your photo reviews.
Keep Loox collecting
Disable overlapping Loox storefront widgets after verifying the Eevy import, but keep Loox installed for requests, forms, incentives, and moderation. Import newer Loox exports into Eevy as needed.
