Moving Judge.me Review Display to Eevy AI

Judge.me is good at collecting reviews. Eevy adds a separate optimization layer for deciding which reviews to show and how to display them. You do not need to replace Judge.me's post-purchase emails, forms, or moderation workflow to use that layer.

This guide moves the storefront display to Eevy while Judge.me keeps collecting reviews. Connect the live source, verify the historical sync, publish Eevy sections, and disable only the overlapping Judge.me widgets.

Connecting Judge.me as a Live Source

In Eevy, open Settings → Integrations, choose Judge.me, and complete the connection flow. Eevy starts a historical backfill and then keeps Judge.me reviews in sync. You can also begin from Add your reviews → Connect a review platform during onboarding. Judge.me remains the source of truth for requests, submissions, and moderation.

Verifying the Historical Sync

Watch the Judge.me integration status while Eevy imports the history. The status shows reviews seen, saved, and skipped. A skipped review usually could not be matched to a current Shopify product. After the sync completes, spot-check several products for ratings, text, names, dates, and media before replacing any storefront widget.

Setting Up Eevy AI Sections

While your reviews import, set up your new Eevy AI review sections. Navigate to Sections → Add Section and create your first section. If you were using Judge.me's review carousel, try Eevy AI's review carousel to start with a familiar format — but also consider adding section types Judge.me does not offer, like story bubbles, UGC video carousels, or AI review summaries. Start with one section on product pages and expand from there. See our first review section guide for configuration recommendations. Once your sections are live, the genetic algorithm immediately begins testing layout variations.

Disabling Only Judge.me Storefront Widgets

After confirming the sync and publishing your Eevy sections, disable Judge.me's product-page display to avoid duplicate widgets. Turn off the Judge.me theme block or app embed and remove any old Liquid widget snippets. Keep the Judge.me app installed, and keep its review request emails, forms, moderation, and syndication enabled. Eevy will continue pulling the reviews Judge.me collects.

Post-Migration Checklist

Visit several product pages and confirm Eevy sections show the synced Judge.me reviews. Check ratings, counts, product matches, photos, and videos on desktop and mobile. Leave Judge.me's review request emails enabled, submit a test review through Judge.me, and confirm it reaches Eevy on the next sync. Do not uninstall Judge.me while it remains your collection platform.

Wrapping Up

The clean setup uses both products for different jobs: Judge.me collects and moderates reviews, while Eevy syncs that content and optimizes the storefront display. There is no collection migration and no gap in post-purchase requests.
