Getting Started with Eevy AI

Head to the Eevy AI listing on the Shopify App Store and click "Add app." Shopify will ask you to confirm the installation and grant the required permissions. Eevy AI needs access to your product data, theme files (read-only), and order data to track revenue per visitor. The installation takes about 30 seconds. Once installed, you will be redirected to the Eevy AI dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

After installation, Eevy AI will prompt you to enable its theme extension. Click "Enable theme extension" and you will be taken to the Shopify theme editor. The Eevy AI app block will appear in your theme's app embeds. Toggle it on and click "Save." This is a one-time setup step. The theme extension is what renders the optimized sections on your storefront — no manual code editing required. If you use multiple themes (for example, a staging theme), you will need to enable the extension on each theme separately.

Back in the Eevy AI dashboard, navigate to "Sections" and click "Add Section." You will see the available section types: review carousels, review grids, review lists, review sliders, UGC video carousels, story bubbles, highlighted reviews, keyword reviews, and more. For your first section, we recommend a Review Slider or Review Carousel on your product pages. Select the section type, choose which pages it should appear on (typically "All product pages"), and click "Create." Eevy AI will immediately begin serving the section to your visitors. If you are migrating from another review app, you can import your existing reviews via CSV. Go to "Settings" then "Import Reviews" in the Eevy AI dashboard. We support imports from Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo, Stamped, Okendo, and any CSV following our standard format. The import preserves star ratings, review text, customer names, photos, and videos. Within the first 24-48 hours, Eevy AI begins collecting data on how visitors interact with your review sections. Head to the Dashboard to see your initial metrics: impressions, click-through rate, and the beginning of RPV (Revenue Per Visitor) tracking. Do not worry if the numbers seem small at first — the genetic algorithm needs a few hundred visitors to start producing meaningful optimization signals. After the first generation completes (typically 3-7 days depending on your traffic), you will see the algorithm start to favor higher-performing layout variants. Once your first section is live and collecting data, consider these next steps: add a second section type to your product pages (for example, a review summary above the fold), connect your existing review pipeline to keep fresh content flowing into Eevy, or explore UGC video sections if you have video reviews. The more section types you add, the more the genetic algorithm can optimize across your store.
