Social proof coverage measures the percentage of your product catalog that has sufficient reviews, photo reviews, and video reviews to drive conversions. Most stores have a severe coverage gap: their top 10% of products have dozens of reviews while the remaining 90% have few or none. Formula

Coverage Score = (Products with 5+ reviews / Total Products) × 100. Revenue Gap = (Uncovered Products × Average Traffic Per Product × Conversion Rate Uplift from Reviews × AOV). Photo/video coverage modifiers add 15-30% to the uplift estimate.

Interpreting Your Results

If your coverage score is below 30%, you have a significant revenue opportunity in review collection alone — before any display optimization. Prioritize collecting reviews on high-traffic products with zero or few reviews, as these represent the biggest conversion gaps.
