Connecting Multiple Shopify Stores

10 min read

If you run multiple Shopify stores — whether for different markets, languages, or brands — keeping reviews in sync is a constant headache. Eevy AI's Store Sync feature lets you share reviews across all connected stores automatically, with automatic translation for multi-language setups.

This guide covers connecting stores, configuring sharing rules, setting up auto-translation, and managing your shared review pool.

Setting Up Your First Store Connection

In the Eevy AI dashboard of your primary store, go to Settings > Store Sync > "Connect Store." Copy the connection code, then go to your secondary store's Eevy AI dashboard and navigate to Settings > Store Sync > "Join Network." Paste the code and confirm. Both stores are now connected. Repeat for additional stores — there is no limit to the number of stores in a sync network.

Configuring Review Sharing Rules

By default, all reviews are shared bidirectionally. Customize with sharing rules: Product matching — match by SKU, product title, or manual mapping; Rating filter — only share 4+ star reviews across stores; Direction — one-way or bidirectional; Review approval — auto-approve shared reviews or require manual approval on each store.

Auto-Translation Setup

Enable auto-translation under Store Sync > Translation. Select the source and target languages for each store. Eevy AI translates review text automatically, preserving the original on the source store. Translations are cached so they only run once per review. Translated reviews display a small "Translated from [language]" note for transparency. For strategic advice, see our Multi-Market Optimization guide.

Managing the Shared Review Pool

View the shared pool in Reviews > All Reviews. Filter by source store to see where each review originated. Moderate shared reviews (approve, reject, flag) and respond to reviews across stores from a single interface. Moderation is per-store, not network-wide — rejecting a review on one store does not affect other stores.

Handling Product Catalog Differences

Reviews for products that exist on both stores sync automatically. Reviews for products only on one store are held in the pool but not displayed on stores lacking the matching product. When you add a new product that matches existing pool reviews, those reviews appear automatically. You can also set up manual product mappings for cases where the same product has different SKUs across stores.

Wrapping Up

Your stores are now connected and sharing reviews. This is powerful for new stores or market launches where you start with zero reviews — Store Sync lets you launch with an existing review library from day one. The genetic algorithm optimizes layouts independently per store, so each market gets the layout that converts best for its specific audience.
